Since this blog went live with posts, life started having huge hunks of time segmented and swallowed up, unexpectedness is the current theme. Thank goodness for John 14:27 and the gift of peace.
Seeds planted decades ago, dormant and patiently waiting, to recent seeds are nurtured, watered, and under His grace sprouts to blooms are present. The mantra of boldness and stepping forward one stone at a time is bringing out the unseen yet felt and tangible obstacles. I find this exciting!
Could it be God’s glory, the goal, shines in my obedience to simply Do: promptly with actions, in saying yes when peace is present and hearing the Spirit regardless of emotional feelings? I am optimistic this is the case, otherwise life wouldn’t be taking on new dimensions. Such as with this vision…
An autumn hued canvas and curved pathway are before me; the curve indicates: destination unknown, with no view of what is to come. Natural hedges twice my height and vivid foliage are the guard rails defining the passage. A misty soft darkness follows behind, comfortably encouraging me to not look back on my shortcomings, simply to keep my eyes on Jesus and His strength, His power, His presence. I am to confidently follow the lamp lit stone pathway. As I lean on, rely on and completely trust, my heart believes the path widens in opportunities to serve our good good Father and opens to the vastness of His beauty over many seasons. Truly beyond comprehension is His love and glory.
Thank you for being a part of the journey, embracing where I am and seeing how God works with an open and willing heart with a kind word to an expressive blog.
A surprise from a friend arrived Saturday after I completed a class designed to hear from God, where the above “painting” took place. Her note to me included this sentiment… As I passed a boutique and this artwork grabbed my attention God said, “Send to Michelle.” She obeyed. She kept it a week longer than expected, not knowing of the class or my life as of late, and her gift arrived in perfect timing, with a scripture having more meaning than apparent.
My Freedom came after a shattered heart, a season of tears and seeking. I CRIED to and for the Lord, literal crying daily, and sought His Word and Promises for six months straight. This friend aided the ending of a mourning and healing season with a few simple words God sent me through her. After grace, grace and more grace, diligent searching in scripture, multitude of hours with teachings, solitude hours of listening, and unforeseen welcomed revelation, I am humbly here a few years later in gratitude with my one word resolution for 2015, BOLD, unlocking a me only present with Him.
Transformation comes with convictions, His chastening because He loves us, “forgive me” requests and abundant joy. His strength, grace, favor and promises are wildly present as we seek and spend time in the Most High and completely trust, giving thanks in all circumstances.
His Will, His Glory ~Michelle
